Damp-Out Waterproofing was established in the year 1977 by Mr. Stephan Bernard Spaan.
Mr. Spaan worked as an apprentice at Roberts Construction where he achieved apprentice
of the year awards for 1973/74. He qualified in Trade test General building in 1975.
Damp-Out is proud to admit that they are the only company to be in business for 31
years with the same name, same people and is the first member of the Masters Builders
Association and Industrial Council. Also a member of the Damp-Proofing and Waterproofing
Association of S.A. (Mr. Paddy Rayner 011 648-0378).
Mr. Spaans staff have been with him for 30 years with his son Winston joining him
just over 10 years ago overseeing all work done.
